can you transfer a g code into a drawing? I got a g code sample program from industrial hobbies under their production notes. and i will attach the dxf of the part (that is only a 2d drawing). I am just trying to make a drawing that actually shows the same thing being machined from the code in a rendering.

I don't quite get what your asking Krymris. I opened your file and it is not a Clover (I'm thinking Shamroc). BCC can perform a function called Geometry From NC, which will read G-Code and Draw the Shape on the CAD Side of the Software. I hope this is what you mean. ![]() |

I ran the simulation with the mach 3 post and the first movement is not right. it is going to far down and cutting into the material over to the intial circle. I do not understand why that is happening. It is suppose to rapid over to the circle then go down. I have uploded the video to show you the part being cut by aaron and he used mach3. Why can't i get this to work right? i cant get the video to load but you can get it from the industrial hobbies site under production notes or videos

If you plot a point to initially start before each tool and use the Move to Point on the CAM side before Generating your G-Code this will fix the problem.
