How do you get the solid display to show in colour? It's always grey on mine...Could be the English weather

Kipper,

You really need to watch Sorin's Video Tutorials. You can change the Color of your Solid Model in the Attributes Dialog Box under the Solids Tap. See the Picture below.

Main Menu> Change> Attributes (looks like a little Yellow Ink Bottle)

Cheers!!!!!

Now back to playing with V2007

You are indeed a beautiful man Thanks for that as it makes the pictures prettier I'm advancing at a steady rate with BCC and so far (apart from unfathomable things) it's feeling as if it is "doable" I have all of Sorins video's and hadn't noticed that little detail  I could become a "fanboy" soon
But seriously I've played around with all sorts of 3D stuff over the years and I'm enjoying learning this software no end and also would like to say thanks to the authors of this site for making it available... all round :yay: I've attached a file of what I'm wanting to do (no real measurements yet as the parts haven't arrived ) I feel like British Rail...

That is what this site is all about. It is a place for those that want to learn. Glad I could help.

It sure is nice to have Toby around. Not sure it would be as good a place without him.

I have just been able to pop in every once in awhile so my help has been limited. Sorin has even less time with all the travel (been there myself).

Thanks for the very kind words Tim. I know that if everyone else had more free time they would be here a lot more often. Still you guys manage to be here with your very busy lives. Actually the Kind Words should go out to you Family guys that use your free time to be here to help others.

Thanks for Building a Wonderful Forum Tim!!!!!!!
