These parts were done with BCC V19 and I decided to try them with V21.
They are for a 1/8 scale Steam Engine Train 2-8-2. I'm working on the Frame Cradles now and will post them later. Files are in BCC.CAD, IGES, STEP,DWG, and DXF. One main reason for posting these file is to give CAD and CAD/CAM users something to learn with as far as modifying drawings and posting G-Code. ![]() V21 is 10 times faster than V19 WOW. Hi Toby
A bit of a digression I know but are these parts intended for mild steel. I am curious as to how you actually applied these parts. Do you have a picture of the steam train. Perhaps on reflection, you have a three axis mill whereas I will have a 3 axis router. My intention is to use my 3 axis router for pre-fabbing carriages and diesel railcars. I know its a digression but .......... curious. Andy |

Some parts will be Stainless (303, 316, 321, 416, 17-4Ph, 15-5Ph, 13-3Ph), Mild Steel, Hard Steel, Carbon Steels, and Aluminum 7075. But that is to be expected in this type of application. Last edited by tobyaxis : 12-03-2006 at 03:09 AM. |
